Yes, the food can be heated up again after defrosting. We recommend defrosting the cubes in the fridge overnight or using a steam or hot water method to defrost quickly. Once defrosted, you can warm up the food in a microwave-safe dish or a pot on the stove. Just be sure to stir and test the temperature before serving your little one. It's important to never re-freeze the food after it has been defrosted.
Once defrosted, our food will remain in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours as long as it is stored in an airtight container and has not been in contact with your baby's mouth or spoon.
If your baby didn't finish eating the food, we recommend discarding any leftover puree in contact with your baby's mouth or spoon to avoid contamination. However, if the puree has not been contaminated, you can store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours after fully defrosting. Label the container with the date and time it was defrosted to keep track of its freshness. If your baby doesn't finish a full cube, you can break off a portion and defrost it separately to avoid waste.
To defrost our flash-frozen cubes, simply transfer the desired number from the freezer to a bowl or container. You can leave them in the refrigerator overnight or defrost them quickly by placing the bowl in warm water for a few minutes. Once the cubes are fully defrosted and ready to serve to your little one, it's important not to refreeze them once they have been defrosted, so make sure only to defrost what you need.
Doomyz pouches can last up to 3 months in your freezer. This is because we use the flash-freezing technique, which locks in all the nutrients and flavors of the food, making them just as fresh as the day they were made.
Our pouches are approximately 21cm tall and 16cm wide and can easily fit in most standard freezer compartments. We recommend stacking them in a flat, organized manner to maximize freezer space.
